I'm one of those. As a 33-year-old, it does feel like I should've had a meaningful relationship like that at this point my career, but you know what? I’m OK with it. Because ultimately, there have been many influential people in my life, both seasonal and permanent, who were instrumental in my development as a human and a businesswoman.

When Nothing's Right, Go Left

I find that I’m usually looking forward to the next step in my career. I grow restless with the status quo easily, which might explain my on again, off again affair with being a freelancer: I’ll work a real job for two years, then, get antsy, embark on a great freelancing mission (and maybe cut my hair), do that for one year, grow tired of the hustle, then get a job again.
